Scott Arfield was arguably the best Canadian player of 2016 and his recent nomination for "Canadian Player of the Year" is proof of that. In his 6 appearances since joining the men's national team, Arfield has constantly been one of the best Canadians in national team games. Adding to that, he enjoyed massive success with Burnley FC, with whom he won the 2015-16 Football League Championship and has been a regular in the club's current Premier League campaign.
With the help of Burnley, we asked him a few questions including his thoughts on Canadian and CONCACAF soccer, joining the Canadian program and reconnecting, along with his family, to Canada.
